Our Franklin Police Department is one to be proud of, and the residents of Franklin have always relied on the Franklin Police to maintain a safe environment for their family members. That job has consistently resulted in a town where every resident can proudly say they live and love every minute of it.

The town of Franklin is diversified when it comes to religion. The population of Catholic members are in the majority in the Town of Franklin MA.
The Town Common
The town common in Franklin MA is an icon in this area, and many of the surrounding communities have attempted to emulate what we have. The “bandstand” dates back many decades and in its early years there would be concerts provided in that structure. There is much history provided with the War Memorials and Dough boys on the Franklin Town Common. Patriotism radiates and Veteran Events are a focal point.
Dean College dates back to 1865 when it was originally a Dean Academy and has transformed into a two year college. One can continue with a Baccalaureate degrees in Arts and Entertainment Management, Business, Dance, Liberal Arts and Studies and Theatre.
The town of Franklin MA has two fire stations with state of the art equipment.
Franklin Public Library
The town of Franklin MA is very proud to display books that were donated by Benjamin Franklin in 1778 and with those books, we have been labeled the “first public library” in the country.
Franklin High School
The first graduating class in our new high school was 2015. This is a state of the art building with new athletic fields provided.
Forge Park Train Station
The Town of Franklin MA has two “T” stops to South Station in Boston, and this is the newer of the two stops. It provides easy access to the residents of this side of Franklin.
